Privacy policy

Last updated: November 8, 2026

Home Coaching helps household members share the chores. This page explains what data the app uses, why, and how to delete it.

Who is responsible

Colin Thuillier, Metz (France), contact: [email protected].

The data we use

First name Identify you to your household members Your household

Local notification settings (morning summary, evening reminder) stay on your phone.

The app has no ads, no analytics and no trackers. Your data is never sold, nor used for anything other than running the app.

If you use “Give feedback”, your email app sends the message: we receive your address and what you write.

Where the data is

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. Error reports are deleted automatically after 6 months.

Deleting your data

In the app: Profile > Delete my account. Your account, household membership, absences and notification tokens are deleted. Your tasks go to another adult of the household; the history of done tasks stays visible to the household without your name (“someone”). If you were the only adult, the household is deleted. Your error reports are no longer linked to your account and disappear after 6 months.

Leaving the household (Profile > Leave the household) keeps your account but removes you from the household.

No longer have the app? Request deletion by email.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, or with the authority of your country.

Children

The app is meant for adults. It collects no data about children in this version.
